Achievement in Dance Scholarship

Established in 2022 to honor the memory of former student Emma Bell Savoie, the merit scholarship is given to a SCOD student who shows the most progress and effort to help further their joy and dance studies.

From Emma’s mother, Amy Savoie:

“Her untimely passing in February 2022 made us want to do something special in her name and memory, to make sure we honored her passion and pay it forward with a full-paid annual dance scholarship. This way other dancers can share their love of dance and strive for the very best in their field with continued studies.

We look forward to gifting this scholarship annually at the spring performance to honor the best and brightest dancer in Emma’s memory. Keep shining your joy of dance for all!”

SCOD is so honored to help coordinate this scholarship opportunity from the Savoie family to continue to spread for years to come the joy that Emma Bell brought to our studios and the stage.
