Adult Division

Whether you are looking for a great new work out, or want to fine tune your classical technique, Schramel Conservatory of Dance offers all levels of adult ballet classes on an ongoing basis. Drop-ins are welcome ($15/class), and reduced rates for professionals are available.

Class Descriptions

Fall Semester: August 26—December 7, 2019


Adult Beginning Ballet

  • Thursday 6:30pm-7:30pm

  • Friday 10:00am-11:00am

Perfect for students with little to no experience and want to learn fundamental and basic ballet technique.

Adult Intermediate Ballet

  • Mondays 6:30-7:45pm

    For those students who have learned basic positions and want to expand on vocabulary and technique.

Adult Int/Advanced Ballet

  • Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat. 10:00am-11:30am

Dancers should have previous experience and be able to follow a full classical ballet technique class

5-Class Card: $65

10-Class Card: $120

If you are new to the studio, you will need to fill out a registration/release form upon arrival.

Class cards are the responsibility of the student. No refunds for lost or stolen cards. The 5-class card has an expiration date of 2 months after first use, and the 10-class card has an expiration date 4 months after first use. Please have front desk sign off on card when you arrive for class.



Dress Code


There is no dress code for adult classes. We encourage comfortable clothing such as leotards, tights, and leggings. Canvas or leather ballet slippers recommended. All dancewear and supplies can be found at Carmel’s in Metairie.
